Scripture Reading For Today — John 10:10

There is one area where the enemy manifests the truth of today's scripture texts in our lives, that we may not be aware of —This is in robbing us of our faith after we have prayed, believed God, and waited seemingly in vain for the answer to our prayers to come.

The bible says in Proverbs 13:12, that when hope is delayed, the heart is made sick. This follows on from what we said yesterday. It is not only lack of prayers that make us to lose heart; lack of answers to our prayers and the loss of faith will accomplish the same unfortunate result in our lives.

Failure of Your Faith - That is Satan's Endgame in his war against you and your destiny!

As Jesus said to Peter in Luke 22:31-32; Satan's real plan was actually to ultimately rob Peter of his faith.

We know the bible tells us in Hebrews 11:6, "that without faith, it is impossible to please God." and
in Mar 4:15— "And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts."

Satan immediately attacks the seed of the word of God planted in the heart of a believer, to prevent the root of faith being established in that person's life.

VULNERABILITY OF VICTORY
In addition, we are also sometimes more vulnerable after a time of victory in our lives than we are at other times.

As the Scottish preacher Andrew Bonar once said, "Let us be as watchful after the victory as before the battle."

The Scriptures illustrate time and again that the Lord’s people are at their most vulnerable following periods of victory. It is then that they are tested as to the reality of their faith.

- We are more vulnerable after God has blessed us. So don't be surprised the next time you leave church and get attacked spiritually.
- We are more vulnerable after God has used us in a powerful time of ministration
- We are more vulnerable during times of fasting and separation
- We are more vulnerable after wonderful times of fellowship and worship.
- The flesh often raises its head and seeks to rob them of all that has been gained by faith.
- Don't be surprised when the Lord has done a great work in your life and then there is a spiritual attack.

Because there is often a TIME LAPSE between "SPIRITUAL VICTORY" and MANIFESTATION OF THE VICTORY due to God regulating time and Process everyone of us at some point in our lives, will experience deferred hope .

Hope deferred makes the heart sick; Hope deferred makes faith to fail.
Give all diligence to ensure that you will not be a casualty of the devil's manipulation strategy in Jesus name.
