"For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." 2 Cor 5:21
Jesus suffered the penalty and consequence of our sin, even though He never knew the pleasure or the defilement of sin.
He became what we are, so that we could become what He was.
Christianity is always more about our "becoming", rather than our "doing".
As a result, God is more interested in what we become, rather than in what we do—our doing must always be first, a consequence of who we are,
of what we have become in Christ Jesus, for it to have any real meaning or eternal value.
"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?'
And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!' Mat 7:21-23, NKJV
Dear friend, God is calling on you today to make full use of the divine exchange that Christ brokered for you through His sacrifice on the cross of
Make it count, let the evidence of the work be seen in your life; not just by what you do, but by who you are, by what you have become.
Hand over your old life completely to Him, so that you can become the new person that Jesus Christ died for you to become.
Concentrate your efforts in your Christian walk of faith in becoming, more than in doing—Doing only has its rewards when it Springs forth from
the foundation of a life that has been changed to become like Him. He gave His life as a ransom for yours, so that you can live His life in the
place of yours.

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for the divine exchange that You made for me on the cross of Calvary, when You gave Your precious life as a ransom
for my worthless life. Help me to become more like You today than I was yesterday.
Let the power of Your Holy Spirit living in me, empower me to live the life of one who has become like You in nature and deeds. Amen.
